Rock Creek Park

Rock Creek Park runs through the District of Columbia and part of Maryland. It is one of the largest urban parks in the United States. Beach Drive runs along Rock Creek for part of the time it is in Maryland, Parts of it are closed to cars on weekends to allow for bikes and joggers. For more information see the Rock Creek Bikeway. I took some pictures along Beach Drive in late winter. You can see some lingering snow on the banks of the creek in one picture. Along toward Spring and Summer I plan to take more pictures.
