Why is it that everyone leaves their heart in San Francisco? Whenever I go, it is cold, windy, and foggy. Of course, I have only been in the summer, which from what I hear, is the worst time to go.

Golden Gate Bridge overlooking San Francisco. On the upper right is a
fog bank rolling in. The day I was there, it was an ongoing struggle
between the fog and the sun. Every few minutes the fog would come in,
only to be forced back out. (6KB, JPEG)
