One of the most recognizable waterfalls in Yosemite National Park.. It is comprised of the Upper Fall which is a 1,430 foot plunge and a Lower Fall which is a 320 foot drop. Between them is the hard to see and access Middle Cascades. In the spring and early summer, when snow is melting, a huge volume of water comes over the falls. They get smaller and the water slows to a trickle late summer and winter. Some years they even dry up completely.
This is one of my favorite parks and I have been there many times. These photos are spread across more than two decades of trips.
