Hello,  My name is Edward Johnson, and I went to Hawaii
with My girlfriend Jen.  Aside from having a really good time,
I took a bunch of pictures and put them up on this web site.  Comments

In case your curious, here are some things that I used to make the site
- Nikon 6006 camera
- Fuji Super HG II ASA 100 file
  I also used a roll or two of Kodak royal gold 100.
- Pictures scanned onto photo CD

  (The under water pictures I scanned myself on a cheap scanner
   and the pictures with me and/or Jen in them Kodak put on floppy)
For developing the site
- My OS of choice is RedHat Linux http://www.redhat.com/
- I wrote the pages by hand using 'vi'
- the logo at the top of the page I made using the GIMP http://www.gimp.org/
- I made a couple of one-shot perl scripts for extracting and renaming
  the images, they aren't pretty or portable, but you can see the steps
  I did, look in this directory for c.txt and extract.txt (geocities
  won't let me upload files with a .pl extension).
