Did you ever wonder if people you know have appeared in the newspaper? Maybe your friends or family have been quoted and you never noticed. This is a database of recent newspaper articles from hundreds of newspapers around the country. It doesn't have every paper, or every article, but it has lots of them, likewise, it doesn't have every every time a person is mentioned, or even every person, but it has lots of them.
Searching couldn't be easier, just put in the person you are looking fors first name (or first initial) and last name. Common names can yield lots of results and may take a minute to complete the search.
Search results show the name and a snippet of the article that the name appeared in. There is a link to the actual article so you can read it if you want the context.
