More Yosemite

There are a handful of highly recognizable sights in Yosemite, the major waterfalls, half dome, etc. Beyond that though there are hundreds of other lesser visited sights that are also beautiful. Here are some of them.

Looking down the valley, from the trail to Inspiration Point One of the first views of the valley you get when you come in to the park on Highway 41 (Wawona Rd) is from Tunnel View. It is a popular place to stop and you get a lot of pictures similar to this one. From there you can hike up to Insparation Point, this photo was taken partway there. View Medium or Large image.	Cabin foundations In 2008 there was a large rockfall on the cliffs above Curry Village that damaged a number of buildings. The park service then re-evaluated the rockfall hazard zone and removed the buildings that were within that newly enlarged area. All that remain are their foundations.
